Harvey L. Hall, joins Trever Martinusen and Derek Robinson, in welcoming golfers to the 5th Annual Lights & Sirens Invitational. The event has been re-named in his honor, for decades of burn survivor support.

Bakersfield and Kern County’s public safety and EMS first responders came together for the benefit of local burn survivors and their families through the Harvey L. Hall Lights & Sirens Invitational, on Monday, September 23, 2013, at Seven Oaks Country Club.

This year’s event has undergone a name change to honor local business owner, Harvey L. Hall, in recognition of his advocacy and support of Kern County burn survivors over the past several decades. As founder and president of Hall Ambulance Service, and having previously worked a number of years as an ambulance attendant, Hall knows first-hand the life-altering impact a burn injury can have on a patient and their family members. One hundred forty-four golfers participated in this sold-out event!

Now in its 5th year, the Harvey L. Hall Lights & Sirens Invitational was born when the unique needs of burn survivors and their families were identified, which requires commitment to long-term care and special assistance while on the road to recovery. Lights & Sirens is a collaborative effort of the Bakersfield Firefighters Burn Foundation, The Kern County Firefighters Burn Survivor Trust and several leaders in the local business community. Major sponsors include: Harvey L. Hall, Hall Ambulance Service, Bakersfield Breakfast Lions, Mercy Air, Bakersfield Firefighters Burn Foundation, Kern County Firefighters Local 1301, Kern County Firefighters Burn Survivor Trust, Grossman Burn Center at San Joaquin Community Hospital, Law Offices of Borton Petrini LLP, Stericycle, Zoll, City Neon, Liberty Ambulance, Imperial Ambulance, Three-Way Automotive, Kern Ambulance and Kern Refuse Disposal, Inc.
